What is Essentials?
A structured six-month marketing training and action program.
Is this program right for my company?
The program is ideal for partners with limited marketing resources, as well as established
companies with new marketing hires or a new market focus. Additionally, we recommend:
- A minimum annual marketing spend of $15-$20K
- Ability to invest 10 hours per month in program (on demand training and actions).
What does the program cost?
The program cost is $4,000 for six months. The cost is per company and you may have as many
people from your company participate as you would like.
Are there other costs to the program?
No. The full program costs $4,000 which includes all the materials, help desk and one-to-one
consulting.
Can I pay in installments?
The program is set up so that you can pay up front, or half up front and half at the three month
point.
Can I use CDF Funds for my program?
Yes. Dynamics partners with CDF funds can be reimbursed for up to 50% of their program
expenses. If you have questions about CDF funds, please contact your Microsoft account
manager.
Can other people in my company join the program?
The program fee is per company. You can have others in your company receive the e-mails and
attend the training calls. Many companies have interns, assistants or marketing people as the
primary contact but have them work with the rest of the team to complete the actions.
Who runs the Help Desk? Who is giving me advice?
The Help Desk is not a call center. You will receive one to one attention. Help Desk is run by
Barbara Pfeiffer, a former Microsoft Marketing Manager and co-lead for this program, along with
Eric Rabinowitz of the Nurture Institute. We review all questions. Most are answered directly by
us, but we will occasionally bring in subject matter experts when needed.
How can I use Help Desk?
The most common uses for the Help Desk are help in finding or assessing Microsoft marketing
resources, review of materials (brochures, invites, etc.), and as a “referral” tool if you are looking
for marketing vendors. Help Desk is e-mail based and has a 24 hour response time.
What kind of results can I expect?
Partners that have taken the program have seen significant increases in their sales pipeline and
the size of deals. What you get out of the Essentials program will be up to you. The best
practices that we teach should become part of your company’s future business model.
What makes the Essentials Program Unique?
The Essentials Program is delivered over a 6-month timeframe so you can learn, absorb content,
and apply what you’ve learned to your business. Essentials utilizes a combination of short,
targeted, online educational programs delivered by renowned marketing experts, group webinars,
real-world exercises utilizing your company’s own information and one-on-one marketing
coaching sessions. Each month’s actions are designed to build upon previously learned skills
and best practices resulting in a tailored fully executable marketing plan.
